THE DESIGN CHALLENGE
Topdental is the UK’s premier supplier of dental consumables for the busy and productive dental practice. They have several key brands within the industry and have used 3di over the past 4 years to design and develop dispensing solutions. The challenge has been to design functional storage containers that are not only aesthetically attractive, but also supremely ergonomic and strong.
THE DESIGN SOLUTION
Producing a selection of different CAD concepts, ensuring we encapsulate the design criteria required for the dental market in terms of style and function. The designs are presented as SLA prototypes and used by Topdental to gain valuable feedback from the industry. Further discussions and modifications to design are undertaken before the completion of the detailed CAD for manufacture.
