Avidity Science, manufacture, install, commission, service and maintain a comprehensive range of water purification systems. As an established distributor of laboratory equipment to school, hospitals and laboratories, Avidity Science wanted to commission their own branded range to the market. 3di Consulting’s design brief was to assist in the development of the new range of equipment called the PURO™ and PICO™, from concept to manufacture. These provide reverse osmosis and deionised water purification for the laboratory market.
Working closely with both Directors, the design specification was established. This included 3 tank sizes and the design of a main central unit, capable of being constructed into a range of control units. The development stages were continuously reviewed by the Quality Manager and technical development team to advance onto a successful product launch.
