24 Apr Medilink EM funding & human centered design success
Human focused design and innovation funding
The evolving nature of modern medicine and the healthcare system presents product designers tough challenges to overcome. 3Di has forty-plus years’ experience designing and developing innovative human-centric design solutions used by industry.
Our approach to human-centric medical products focuses on integrated design. Combining various viewpoints and objectives allows us to meet the strict standards and high expectations expected from healthcare professionals, patients and care providers.
Our Work – A core focus on integrated design
Our work with Bowman Medical offered a solution to key issues found within third world countries. The Speculum project aided the identification of cervical cancer. Procedures on patients had to be effective within one visit, guarantee single usage and offer design advantages over the competition while being made at a disposable cost price.
3Di’s past projects within the medical sector aren’t just limited to medical devices. 3Di have worked closely with Triple Red. Triple Red manufacture, install, commission, service and maintain a comprehensive range of RO Water purification systems. They’re established distributors of laboratory equipment to school, hospitals and laboratories. We helped Triple Red design 3 tank sizes and a main central unit, capable of being constructed into a range of control units.
