3D CAD

Once the component design is approved by the customer, we can produce standard fully accurate 3D IGES files ready to be used directly with the manufacture of the mould tool or component. This is a very important and crucial stage of any product design project. As always, 3D design can be fine tuned and CAD data altered, but before any production tools are commissioned, we require all 3D data and 2D drawings to be signed off by our clients .

Using the latest industry standard CAD software package, Pro/Engineer, Wildfire 4, we can export the 3D CAD files to our in-house 3D printer and 2D CNC machine to create accurate prototype 3D models for fit and function testing. The 3D data is very versatile and can be exported into a variety of other 3D CAD design formats depending on your needs. All manufacturing detailing is proven including mould draft, split lines, gate and ejector positions. This ensures projects are kept to the critical path.
