At 3di we have the facility to bring your new product ideas to life in a truly photographic way by producing product visuals or 3D renderings of your product design using the latest software. Before any model or tooling investment is made, we can visualise your ideas; showing the product in use in it’s chosen environment and even in a variety of materials, colours and graphics.

This service is split into three categories; we build in product visuals at the end of the concept stage to create impact and ensure our clients are happy with the product’s design and development. We also provide product visualisations at the end of the development and production CAD stages. Photorealistic CAD visuals, alongside accurate models, are a powerful tool for the modern product designer to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to fellow designers, manufacturers or non-design trained individuals.

Product visuals created from the production CAD are even more realistic than in previous stages. Using our software we can replicate real life camera focal length to create depth of field, professional lighting setups, material textures and even specific product environments. These visuals can be good enough to use for marketing purposes, either on websites or in product brochures. Sometimes you can’t differentiate a render from a photograph.

The last area of the product visual service is the simplest. You send us your sketches, photographs, CAD files or drawings, let us know the resolution required and time scales involved, list the materials and scenery details and we provide you with a near photorealistic visual of your idea. Most of our clients will use this service alongside their main project to quickly update and freshen up existing marketing material and really value the service.
