Overview

Since 2004, 3di Consulting Ltd have been designing and developing exciting new products for Clippasafe Ltd’s quality child safety product range.

After the success of 3di redesigning a side release buckle for a child’s harness and wrist link, the next brief received by Clippasafe, was to design a baby bottle milk temperature indicator disc and also included the design of a spoon and storage case.

One of the innovative features of the indicators was that they changed colour in relation to the temperature of the milk, providing a quick visual indication. After the concept stage, 3di produced fully engineered 3D CAD drawings ready for the toolmaker and production. On the success of this particular product the same design feature was implemented into a dolphin shaped bath temperature gauge.
