Another output from our 3D production CAD is to produce full size or scaled 2D CAD drawings. These detailed drawings provide critical information for manufacture, including dimensions, material selection, finishes and tolerances. Sometimes our clients like to review 2D elevations of their product at the development stage to analyse certain design features, often these are evaluated and create a good insight into the decision making process.
Many manufacturers now read and prefer to receive 3D IGES CAD files, however there are still a few manufactures who prefer these 2D CAD drawings.
